The standalone effect plugins are one of my ongoing projects with Native Instruments. I've designed the minimalistic framework bar at the top of each of these products, and the essential part of it was to take as little attention as possible. The result was very well received, and blends well with the variety of the plugins.
Besides the menubar, I am responsible for implementing UIs from 3rd party designers into the products and correct any mistakes that might occur. Have a browse through on the official NI website.
In late 2012 I had the pleasure of redesigning the visual identity and website of the sample producer Uppercussion aka. Paul Maurer. He was in need of a fresh new look for his business and emphasizing the heritage of his products.
The website runs on the database free Kirby filebased CMS, and all sounds are driven by the soundcloud api. Needless to say, it had to be responsive on all devices as well.
Along with many new features in GR5 Pro, two new vintage components were included. These two had their UI designed and implemented by yours truly along with a few other updates in the browser and overall UI framework itself.Website
In 2012 I was part of a startup project in Berlin, that revolved around aggregating newsfeeds through experts. This functioned very much like Digg Newsroom is conceptualized now, but we were pretty far with the whole system and the UX end of the service.
Unfortunately it never came to life as people got held up in other projects.
I was incharge of the User Experience and everything visual on the project, and it taught me a lot about visualizing complex information.
I am a danish born, with a background in Multimedia design and a bachelor degree in concept development. This education along with my experience has given me a great palette spanding across concepts, user experience design, user interface design and front-end development.
Besides the User Experience skills, I also create visual identities and print design. All this put together, gives me great ability to operate in startup cultures as well as established companies.
To describe myself as a person, I would say I am a calm and collected person, liked by most people I come across in my daily life. When I work with someone, I always treat them as I would like to be treated myself, and always making good friends in the process.
